1. Platform Nature & Agreement Overview
AtmosGrid provides commercial planetary weather intelligence, real-time geostationary satellite raster layers (GOES-19, INSAT-3DS, Meteosat-9, Meteosat Prime), numerical forecast integrations (GFS, ECMWF, HRRR), and domain decision engines. By accessing our platform, consuming our HTTP/REST APIs, or embedding our OGC tile endpoints, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use & Commercial Licenses
Depending on your subscription tier (Developer Sandbox, Professional, or Enterprise):
- Developer Tier: Granted for non-commercial evaluation, personal experimentation, and prototyping. Commercial redistribution, high-frequency automated scraping, and production deployment are prohibited.
- Professional Tier: Granted for commercial application backends, customer-facing web dashboards, and business workflows within specified rate limits.
- Enterprise Tier: Includes customized bounding boxes, dedicated high-concurrency quotas, private webhook dispatch, and redistribution rights under bespoke Master Service Agreements (MSA).
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Bypass rate limits, flood network infrastructure, or run unthrottled concurrent tile scraping outside agreed concurrency caps.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract proprietary raw geospatial rendering pipelines.
- Share Bearer tokens across unauthorized third parties or publicly publish private API keys.
- Utilize AtmosGrid services for kinetic weapon guidance, autonomous military targeting, or violations of international export controls.
4. Upstream Data Sources & Probabilistic Disclaimer
AtmosGrid harmonizes telemetry from public and intergovernmental space and weather agencies, including NOAA, ISRO MOSDAC, EUMETSAT, NASA Earthdata, and NWS. Meteorological forecasts and satellite observations are inherently probabilistic and subject to atmospheric variance.
Operational Safety Notice: AtmosGrid is an intelligence and operational decision support system. It must not be used as the sole source of guidance for life-critical safety decisions, aviation flight dispatch in extreme icing conditions, or official disaster evacuation orders. Always consult authorized national meteorological agency warnings.
5. Service Level Commitments & Availability
For Professional and Enterprise plans, AtmosGrid targets 99.9% monthly API endpoint uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows with advance notification are excluded from downtime calculations. Live status, provider feed freshness, and latency telemetry are continuously published at atmosgrid.in/status.
6. Intellectual Property & Data Rights
All proprietary algorithms, processed tile pyramids, colormap shaders, decision models, and software interfaces remain the intellectual property of AtmosGrid. Data outputs generated specifically from your proprietary telemetry (such as custom soil moisture arrays or sensor calibrations) remain your property.
7. Termination & Cancellation
Subscriptions can be modified or cancelled with 30 days written notice prior to billing cycle renewal. In the event of repeated material breach of rate limits or acceptable use, AtmosGrid reserves the right to immediately suspend API access tokens.
