1. Our Data Protection Commitment
AtmosGrid provides commercial weather intelligence infrastructure. We believe business data, coordinate queries, and enterprise telemetry belong to the customer. We do not sell, rent, broker, or monetize user data or query histories to advertising networks or third-party data aggregators.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the technical data required to securely operate, deliver, and bill our services:
- API Request Telemetry: Request timestamp, HTTP method, path, response latency, status code, IP address, and client User-Agent header for rate-limiting, security anomaly detection, and operational debugging.
- Commercial Inquiries: When submitting an enterprise inquiry on /contact, we collect your name, work email address, organization name, decision vertical, and project scope.
- Local Browser Storage: We use local storage for essential application state, such as map tile caching, user preferences, and cookie consent records. No cross-site advertising trackers are installed.
3. How We Process & Use Your Data
- To validate API keys and enforce tier concurrency quotas.
- To render low-latency geostationary raster tiles and numerical weather grids.
- To detect and mitigate denial-of-service (DDoS) vectors and abusive automated scraping.
- To evaluate commercial pilot inquiries and deliver dedicated support SLAs.
4. Data Retention & Security Measures
We apply automated log rotation and data retention limits. Technical access logs are purged on a rolling 30-day schedule. Upstream satellite NetCDF files and raster cache layers are managed through strict retention cycles to ensure minimal storage footprints and secure data handling.
All transit communications are encrypted with TLS 1.3 / HTTPS. Internal server endpoints and production worker nodes are isolated behind firewalls and strict access credentials.
5. Global Privacy Rights (GDPR & DPDP)
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Union under GDPR and India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you have rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Right of Access: Request confirmation of what personal details we hold.
- Right of Rectification: Update or correct inaccurate organization or contact data.
- Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of contact inquiry records.
